They are delicious and go very well with beer. My husband was delighted with this recipe.

  • 8 wings
  • 400 g yogurt 3.5% fat
  • flour about 250 g
  • salt, pepper, paprika
  • frying oil

Servings: 2

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Crispy wings:

Cut the wings and wash well. Take each one separately and add salt, pepper, paprika and put them all in a bowl. Add the yogurt and mix well to keep all the wings covered. Leave in the fridge for 5-6 hours.

After the time has passed, take each wing and roll it in flour. Fry in hot oil until well browned.

Serve with sweet or spicy ketchup, as desired.

Good appetite!

Re: Crispy chicken wings

did you put the oven on the grill at the end? it's impossible not to get crispy wings with the grill, in 10 minutes it makes a whole crispy chicken, I've done it dozens of times and it came out every time

Re: Crispy chicken wings

finally I put pictures to this recipe, I made them now for dinner this time I put a little chili on them and I served with sauerkraut in pepper
I also put a close-up with "crunchiness", I hope it can be seen

there are two reasons why the wings may not be crispy, maybe I wasn't clear either:

1. you didn't dry them properly after you washed them, you have to absorb them well with the napkins, they should be perfectly dry and then eventually let them dry a bit in the air.

my question is different. I'm trying to make them now and I don't know if the tray in which the wings are placed is greased or not.

Woooooow! I just made my father this delicacy: crispy wings. They are absolutely delicious. I also added Greek spices (which are used for pork / poultry souflaki), and they came out really crunchy and only good for licking your fingers. Thank you very much for the recipe. Congratulations.
P.S. I served them with Tabbouleh salad and it was a consistent, fresh and healthy meal.

My oven doesn't have the grill you're talking about (I have something to call it "broil", but in my opinion it's not the same as "grill"). Is the temperature on this setting lower or higher than 200C?

Re: Crispy chicken wings

Laura, I'll answer you late, but now I remember your question. Broiling at you is when the oven fire is up right? that is the option to be used. I do not have a temperature setting in degrees for this option, I turn it on, and the fin tray is in the middle of the oven and I do not peel off the oven until I am ready.
