Cooking chicken baked in a sleeve:

Step 1: prepare the chicken.

We take 7 medium-sized chicken legs, rinse under cold running water and remove small feathers from the skin that could remain after the cleaning machine produced at the poultry farm. Then dry the chicken with paper kitchen towels and put in a deep bowl.

Step 2: prepare onions and garlic.

Now peel the onion and garlic. We wash them under cold running water, dry with paper towels, put on a cutting board and grind. We cut onions in half rings or rings up to 1 centimeter thick. Chop the garlic finely or cut into thin rings.

Step 3: pickle the chicken.

We shift the chopped vegetables into a bowl with chicken legs. We add vegetable oil, salt, red chili pepper, paprika and Italian herbs seasoning there.
With clean hands, rub all the components of the marinade into the chicken meat. Then we tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator minimum 12 maximum 24 hours.
During this time, we turn the chicken legs from side to side a couple of times so that the marinade does not settle to the bottom of the bowl and the chicken is pickled on all sides.

Step 4: bake the chicken in the sleeve.

In 12 - 24 hours turn on and preheat the oven up to 190 degrees Celsius. We take out a bowl of pickled chicken legs from the refrigerator. Then we take a baking sleeve and cut off a piece of it in length 60 centimeters.

We spread the segment on a small non-stick baking sheet and tie one of its ends with a special heat-resistant plastic clip. Fill the resulting bag with chicken.

We also bind it on the other side and leave it on a baking sheet. We check the temperature of the oven, if it has warmed up, we send chicken legs to it on 45 - 50 minutes.

After this time, we act as desired: either cut the top layer of the sleeve and bake the chicken for another 5 - 7 minutes so that it becomes golden brown, or if your household prefers more tender meat without a crust, then we put on kitchen gloves and take out a baking sheet from the oven.

Carefully put it on a cutting board. Leave as it is on 10 minutes.

Then carefully cut the sleeve, transfer the contents to a large flat dish and serve the baked chicken to the table.

Step 5: serve the chicken baked in the sleeve.

Baked chicken in the sleeve is served hot as the main meat dish. An ideal side dish for this dish: mashed potatoes, boiled rice, pasta or fresh vegetable salad. Also, at the request of such a chicken, you can cook sauces based on tomatoes or sour cream. Tasty, simple and inexpensive! Enjoy it!
